Northwestern opened our Home Meet Schedule in a dual meet against Indian Land last night. We ran limited events and used it as a chance for both teams to get early season marks. Both teams did great and exhibited awesome sportsmanship. Please check the link for the results. Next up, we head to both Metrolina and Rock Hill’s Invitationals on Saturday.

Both NHS Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams qualified this afternoon for the 5A Division 2 State Championship meet next Saturday in Aiken, SC.

The girls team finished 3rd overall in the qualifier with Grace Harvey leading the Trojans with a 6th place finish overall.

The Boys team finished 4th overall and were led by Michael Thomas, who finished 11th place overall.

⚾️Baseball Update⚾️

Open Season workouts start tomorrow Oct.1st for all 7th-12th grade students (not playing in a fall sport) looking to play baseball in the spring.

7th-10th graders at 4:00PM - 5:30 PM
11th-12th graders at 5:15PM -6:45PM

All athletes will need to have pants, shorts, glove, bat, cleats, tennis shoes and all other equipment needed to do a full practice.

At 6PM there will be a home DP game playing on the field. 11th and 12th graders not playing in DP game will have workouts outside the field and in the cages.
